· Continuation of installation of drainage and new traffic light and street lighting infrastructure

St Mary’s Way/ Newbridge Lane Junction
· Continuation of footway surfacing and landscaping planting

St Mary’s Way/ Newbridge Lane Junction
· Continuation of footway surfacing and landscaping planting
M60 Junction 1 (Hollywood Way)
Progress made w/c 12.03.2018
· Concrete works to retaining wall bays
· Demolition works
· Phase 2 TM was removed and replaced with Phase 3 TM on Saturday 10th March
Look Ahead for w/c 19.03.2018
· Removal of scaffold & Encapsulation to Subway on completion of Hydro Demolition
· Install Rebar and wall steel
· Concrete works to retaining walls
· Excavation works
· Lane 1 closure on Yew Street in place from 2.01.18 for a period of c. 6 months
Note: The traffic management has been removed from the M60 junction 1 roundabout which has improved traffic flows. The only lane closure now in place is on Yew Street, as noted above.

A555 Drainage Repair
Progress made w/c 12.03.2018
· Removal of existing damaged infrastructure complete
· Dig to second frame level complete
· Works have temporarily ceased due to temporary works issues, see below
Note:
· Due to unforeseen issues relating to the position of the main chamber which serves the attenuation tank the temporary works design is being amended to fit the new arrangement. The new design is due to be submitted/approved early next week (w/c 19th March 2018). Works to install the second frame can then continue.
· As noted last week, during the piling works further settlement of the carriageway was noted around the western chamber of the attenuation tank. By way of update, we are continuing to monitor this issue and further investigations will be carried out following the completion of the repair works within the original scope.
Look Ahead for w/c 19.03.2018
· Temporary works redesign completion
· Installation of second frame
· Continue dig to final excavation level
· Lay blinding concrete at base of excavation
