Stockport Council is consulting on proposals for a new signalised (Puffin) crossing on Brabyns Brow to improve access to Marple Station. Development of the scheme is funded through the Government’s City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) and aims to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians and bus users accessing the station.
This is something we have campaigned on for some time. This will make access for pedestrians so much safer.
