KEEP FREE PARKING IN BREDBURY & WOODLEY
Local people in Bredbury & Woodley have reacted with outrage at plans by Liberal Democrat-run Stockport Council to introduce charges at several free car parks across our area.
Under the plans, residents will have to pay to park at
- Chapel Street,
- Redhouse Lane
- Woodley Precinct.
Bernie Wylde and Paul Athans have launched a petition against these plans.
Bernie said,
"These punitive proposals will hurt local businesses and cause chaos for residents who may be unable to park outside their own homes."
