Many local people have contacted Elizabeth Arnold and Paul Athans to voice their concerns that High Lane is suffering from heavy congestion, following the opening of the A555.
Elizabeth said
"Local people have told me that they spend ages in long queues just to get to the shops or to visit loved ones. Many of them also report shaking
caused by HGVs.
Yet again, the Liberal Democrat-run Stockport Council are abandoning High Lane with no solutions in sight."
Paul Athans and your Conservative team are calling on Stockport Council to finish the job and build the A6-M60 Bypass, with a relief road for High Lane.
