Cllr Oliver Johnstone and your local Conservative team are campaigning against plans to erect a 17m tall 5G Phone Mast and cabinets outside the barbershop at the Fiveways Parade.
Local residents have been contacting Oliver to express their opposition to the plans as it would negatively impact the street scene and local amenity of the area.
Oliver said, “I am standing with local residents on this one who are unhappy with these plans. We all recognise the need for these masts but the proposed placement of this one maximises the detrimental impact that it would have on the local visual amenity. Other sites in the area could have been chosen which would have mitigated the visual impact.”
