Local Conservative Campaigner, Oliver Johnstone and the local Conservative team in Hazel Grove are fighting to protect our trees and grass verges on Dean Lane in the face of plans by Stockport Council to rip them up.
Last year, a petition organised and signed by 200 local residents protesting against the plans was submitted to Stockport Council but in the latest version of the plans, their concerns have been ignored.
Oliver said, “I am encouraging local residents who want to save our trees and verges, as well as preserve the car parking for local businesses at the Fiveways to sign our petition. Send a message to Labour and Liberal Democrat Councillors who are imposing these plans that Hazel Grove deserves better.”
