Our area needs more affordable homes. We need to maximise the use of brownfield sites and prioritise building in empty commercial units.
We will work with Stockport Council to put rocket boosters under schemes like that at Melford Road in Hazel Grove and conversion of disused mills such as the one in Compstall.
We want to help our young people onto the housing ladder locally whilst preserving the green spaces that define our community.
